Nearly five years ago, we launched the DEEP-DIVE format at Cannabis-Startups.com: A a monthly series designed to equip entrepreneurs with the legal knowledge needed to build better businesses in the cannabis industry.

From 2020 through 2025, we sat down each month with Peter Homberg to examine the legal issues shaping our industry. Peter had a unique gift for making complex legal matters not just understandable, but directly actionable. Whether addressing future risks, political developments, or creative interpretations of business models, Peter always asked the crucial question: Is this legal?

Following Peter’s unexpected passing in December 2025, we are honored to continue this essential format with Judith Heimbürger from gunnercooke.
